Kateryna Stetsevych, born in Ukraine. She studied German and Literature at the University of Chernivtsi and East European Culture and Politics at the Free University of Berlin. 2005-2006 Fellow of the Robert Bosch Foundation (Programme "Cultural managers from Central and Eastern Europe") at the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bonn). Since 2007 she is a freelance arts manager and trainer for project management for various organizations (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, Goethe Institut etc.). Focus of work: creative methods, brainstorming and concept development, planning tools, financial management of cultural projects, fundraising, application, project evaluations. 2011-2014 she was Coordinator of the programme "Tranzyt: Literature from Ukraine, Poland and Belarus" at the Leipzig Book Fair. 2013 co-founder of “Kulturgenossenschaft” in Berlin. Claudia Dathe studied Translation Studies (Russian and Polish) and Business Administration in Leipzig, Pyatigorsk (Russia) and Krakow. From 1997 to 2004 she worked as a lecturer for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Upon her return, she acted as a freelance translator for Ukrainian, Russian and Polish and led seminars for German and Ukrainian young translators. Since 2009, she has worked at the University of Tübingen, initially in the project "Text footprints - literary translation", since 2013 as the coordinator of the EU project "Trans Star" and participates in projects on cultural and social networking of countries in Central and Eastern Europe. Claudia Dathe has translated the Ukrainian authors Serhiy Zhadan, Olexandr Irwanez, Tanja Maljartschuk and Maria Matios into German.
